Capital Markets Day with focus on energy efficiency and Hyundai Glovis

The Wilhelmsen group is pursuing several major initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental footprint and to reduce energy consumption and harmful emissions. New vessels on order are more energy efficient than existing vessels and are equipped with modern environmentally-adapted solutions.

On the market outlook Wang states: “Given the fiscal uncertainties in Europe and the ripple effect this has on the global financial markets, volumes may soften the coming months. We expect the BRIC countries to continue their positive development with export from Europe to China holding up well while exports to Europe may weaken.”
